Cigna to Continue Paying for the Professional Component of Clinical Lab Services

The GAP is pleased to announce that Cigna has rescinded its decision to stop paying for the professional component of clinical lab services. The GAP addressed this issue on our website, and on May 18th, 2021, the GAP Board of Directors sent Cigna a letter urging the company to reverse course. We are grateful that Cigna was willing to listen to our position and, furthermore, to then make the right decision. We appreciate the collaboration.
